Celebrate Maslenitsa at Baltschug
Join us at Hotel Baltschug Kempinski Moscow for Maslenitsa Week! This year, our menu brings together ideas and flavours from around the world.
Maslenitsa is one of the most cherished folk traditions, marking the end of winter and the arrival of spring. It’s a time for generous treats and joyful gatherings, a festival of pancakes. Celebrate Maslenitsa Week at Baltschug from 16 to 22 February!
The new Maslenitsa menu by Chef Andrei Kagokin features both timeless Russian classics and new dishes inspired by culinary traditions from other countries.
Those who enjoy rich flavours will love blinis with lightly salted salmon and soft curd cheese, hearty blinis with meat and Emmental cheese or a pancake rolls with crab, avocado and cream cheese. For gourmets – blinis with red or pike caviar; for fans of home-style cooking – served with sour cream, jam or honey.
