Ladies’ Day Festive Brunch
18 February 2026

Brunch at Hotel Baltschug is the perfect way to celebrate International Women’s Day in an atmosphere of elegance and gastronomic delight. Guests are invited to enjoy a lavish buffet created by Chef Andrey Kagokin at the Baltschug Grill restaurant, complemented by unlimited premium beverages, live music and dedicated children’s entertainment.

On 8 March, from 12:30 to 16:30, we look forward to welcoming guests to the Baltschug Grill for the first spring brunch of the season.

Chef Andrey Kagokin presents a menu featuring over one hundred dishes to satisfy a wide range of tastes. The seafood bar showcases fresh oysters, tiger prawns, mussels marinated in white wine, hot-smoked sturgeon and salmon, herring, butterfish and a selection of rolls. At the tartare station, guests will find salmon and tender beef fillet tartare.

The cold appetisers offer an impressive variety, including sea bass ceviche, duck liver terrine with raspberries, tiger prawn salad, beef carpaccio, octopus with cranberry sauce, smoked duck breast and an assortment of premium cold cuts and cheeses.

Russian culinary classics are also well represented, featuring the signature Baltschug Olivier salad, blinis with red caviar, traditional pickles and mushrooms, assorted pies, beef stroganoff with ceps and pelmeni. Homestyle pizzas with a variety of toppings are prepared in a traditional oven. Soups include tom yum with seafood and a delicate parsnip cream soup. At the carving station, guests may savour prime ribeye with rosemary sauce and salmon kulebyaka with Champagne sauce.

The hot dishes selection includes pasta with a choice of fillings, lamb rack with lingonberry sauce, sea trout fillet with artichokes and asparagus, chicken parmigiana with basil sauce, grilled dorade fillet, teriyaki beef, duck breast with cranberry sauce and seafood curry, accompanied by a variety of side dishes.

For dessert, guests may indulge in more than two dozen hot and cold creations, including fraisier cake with strawberries, blueberry-lavender mousse, crème brûlée, tropical pavlova with mango and passion fruit, red velvet cupcakes, an assortment of ice creams and sorbets and a flowing chocolate fountain.

As the brunch coincides this year with the beginning of Great Lent, the chef has ensured a generous selection of delicious and wholesome fasting options. These include vegetable salads and assorted rolls, parsnip cream soup, pasta with vegetable fillings, mushroom pies, steamed and grilled vegetables, lenten bread and fresh fruit. Alternative beverages will also be available, including freshly squeezed juices, non-alcoholic sparkling wine, wine and beer.
