On 8 September, the gala ceremony for the international luxury tourism award, Global Destination Awards 2026, was held in Moscow. The event was organised by the international television channel World Fashion Channel. The award brought together leading hoteliers and developers, as well as media representatives, celebrities and influencers who shape trends in the premium travel sector.

Winners were announced in 30 categories. Among the leading premium hotels, resorts and tourist destinations recognised by World Fashion Channel, Hotel Baltschug Kempinski Moscow received special recognition, winning in the ‘Room with a View’ category.
